I am a community and employment services professional with experience in case management, career coaching, client advocacy, program development and system navigation. My practice combines professional training with lived-experience-informed peer support, allowing me to build genuine relationships while maintaining clear boundaries, accountability and a strong focus on client goals.
I have worked with individuals facing complex barriers related to employment, income, housing, mental health, substance use and social exclusion. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and harm reduction practice, with an emphasis on meeting people where they are, identifying practical barriers and working alongside them to create realistic paths forward.
Alongside direct client service, I have developed programs, workshops, resources and practical systems that strengthen service delivery. My work has included improving caseload tracking and follow-up, developing individualized employment tools, creating client resources, supporting employer engagement and identifying service gaps that can be addressed through practical solutions.
At the centre of my work is a simple belief: effective community service is something we do with people, not for them. Being a peer is an important part of that practice. It informs how I listen, how I build trust and how I understand barriers, while my education, professional experience and training provide the structure needed to turn that understanding into effective support.
